At AOC Physicians, we believe that hearing provides more freedom and mobility in life, and it allows people to experience opportunities that their hearing loss may prevent. Assistive hearing devices may be recommended for patients with all levels of hearing loss and may be used in addition to a hearing aid. These devices are primarily used to separate a speaker from background noise. Rather than turning up the volume to all sound, assistive listening devices give patients the option to turn up the sound they want to focus on. We work with patients to select from a wide range of assistive hearing devices depending on his or her needs. Our staff will ensure that patients leave our office confident that they can use and properly maintain their devices at home. However, if patients have any questions or are interested in learning more about their devices, we welcome them to call our office.
